GIANT FLYING BOAT.
FOR COB'HAM VS CIRCUIT OF AFRICA. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. LONDON, Nov. I'7. The largest rnetal flying boat in the world, in which Sir Alan CoFmam is to make a twenty thousand miles circuit of Africa, took off in the Medway. Sir Alan said his object was to gain data of the Cape to Cairo airway and the possibilities of operating giant flying boats from Capetown to England.
