The Wellington ladies’ provincial golf championship was concluded today in boisterous weather. In the semi-finals Miss Gambriell (Wellington) beat Mrs. Godby (Christchurch) 5 up and 3 to play, and Miss V_ Upham (Wellington) beat Miss Seifert (Manawatu) 2 up and 1 to play. In the final Miss Gambriell beat Miss Upliam 5 and 4.

PALMERSTON N., Oct. 20. _ The Manawatu golf tourney semifinalists are: A. Blyth (Shannon), A. Seifert (Manawatu), H. A. Black (Hutt), W. A. Keeling (Manawatu). Semi-finalists in the Hokowhitu handicap are: P. Hay (Wairarapa), K. Adams (Levin), G. IV. Blaxaxll (Hutt), N. C. Shepherd (Wairarapa). In a medal handicap played to-day, W. E. Winks (Manawatu) and E. Parsons (IVaverley) tied with a nett score of 79. A heavy wind interfered with play.'
