The first news of Miss Eider’s rescue was received by an American newspaper office in Paris bv wireless saying “Landed by steamer Barondroooht with broken oil line. Both unhurt,” and signed Ruth Elder. . It is believed the -position of the Barondrooclit was 600 miles north-east of the Azores. —A.P.A. and Sun.
