PERSIAN'S AND TURKS CLASH

The Constantinople correspondent of “The Times” says Perso-Turkish frontier incidents are assuming .serious proportions. It.is officially reported that Persian bands advanced as far as Trayny.id, where they met Turkish troops. Fighting occurred, resulting in casualties on'"both sides and the Persians capturing the Turkish advance guard, which included several officers.
Another fight occurred at Mount Agridagh. the Turks inflicting .severe Persian losses. The official organ, “Hakimpt,” urges the Government to act firmly and end such an intolerable situation. It asserts that the frontier bands, protected by local Persian authorities, accused the Teheran Government of not fulfilling its treaty engagements. Persian hands, it is also reported, penetrated into Russian territory and pillaged several villages.
