UNIQUE SOCIAL EVENT.
A TRIPLE WEDDING. (BY TELEGRAPH TRESS ASSOCIATION.) GISBORNE, Sept. 21. A unique social event, took place this afternoon in the form of a triple wedding, one being a golden, one a silver and the other the actual celebration of nuptials, the parties representing three generations. Mr and Mrs A. H. Wallis celebrated the fiftieth anniversary of their wedding, Mr and Mrs A/R, Watson, the latter being Mr and Mrs Wallis’ daughter, celebrated their silver anniversary, and Mr and Mrs Watson’s son was married. Visitors have been arriving from all parts of the Dominion, the guests numbering 500.
