At the international athletic meeting, Cumming, champion of New York, won the 100 metres in 10 3-ssec, beating Scholz, the American Olympic representative, and Theard (France). The German, Peltzer, won the 1000 metres in 2min 25 4-ssee, a world’s record, defeating Martin, the French champion. Lord, Burleigh won the 110 and 200 metres hurdles, heating respectively Berthier (France) in 15 l-ssec, and Alza.r (France) in 24 3~ssec. OSLO, Sept. 18. The Norwegian, Anderson, won the 100 metres in 10 2-ssec.

STOCKHOLM, Sept. 18. The Swede, Petterson. covered the 110 metres hurdles in 14 7-lGsee, a world’s record.
