INCREASES IN BRITAIN. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION— 'OPYRIGHT. Received 10.20 a.m. to-day. LONDON, Sept. 15. The Health Ministry’s report announcesl that poor law relief had been raised 350 per cent, and outdoor relief 1000 per cent. The outdoor figures were: For 1914, to 387,790 persons the cost was £2,214,080; in 3927 to 1,722,084 persons the cast was £23,750,000. — A.P.A. and “Sun.”
