GRAND THEATRE—TO-NIGHT
“A FIGHTING RANGER.”
Thrills, romance, and comedy, with the ancient hatred of cattle men and sheep men for each other iorming the plot, feature “A Fighting Peacemaker,” Universal-Blue Streak Western, starring Jack Hoxie, which opened last evening at the Grand Theatre. Hoxie has been given a fine supporting cast, headed by Lola Todd. Hoxie has taken advantage of the opportunity which this great picture gives him for displaying not only his acting ability, but also his horsemanship and his rugged manhood. Hoxie again gives us the typical, breezy man of the western plains, who can love as well as he can ride and fight. The .star has introduced into this picture with telling effect two of his animal pets'— Scout, his favourite horse, and Bunk, his wise Australian 'shepherd dog. The love of these two animals for their master is well illustrated in this picture.
