HORATIO BOTTOMLEY.
INVESTIGATING VICTORY BOND CERTIFICATES. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received 11.5 a.m. to-day. LONDON, Aug. 28. The newspaper “Weekly Despatch” says: “Mr. Horatio Bottomley has instructed his solicitors to apply to the court to fix the conclusion of the, public examination regarding the Victory Bond Club and allied undertakings, which was postponed after his conviction. He has lodged details of receipts and payments, and desires an examination thereon. He has invited the London committee of bondholders to employ solicitors at his own expense to investigate the accounts. He is also inquiring with a riew to recovering assets in France and fixing the responsibility for large numbers- of forged certificates.—“ Sydney Sun” Cable.
