The report of the conipany’is manager regarding the recent discovery of reef gold at Edie Creek. New Guinea, says that the warden’s assay showed the value not to be less than 20 ounces of free gold to the ton, and the geological formation of the lode assured it of living to a great depth. A director of the company, who is visiting Sydney, states that further discoveries of rich lodes and quartz reefs 'in the Edie district resulted in the pegging out of many leaises. He adds that indications is'howed that the location of the permanent rich reefing field promise to be the beet .since the pegging out of the famous Golden Mile at Kalgoorlie.
