The Waimnte fourths are. to be congratulated on winning the Taranaki fourth grade championship for the second yew in succession. The juniors, who stfiso played off for their championship had very hard look to be beaten. They are also to he congratulated on their fine showing and credit is «il*o due to their coaches, Messrs Jas. Hickey and C. Burke. PERSONAL. Mrs. Mine lias returned home again after her long illness. Air H. Hill and P. Bone, who have been inmates of the Hawera Public Hospital for! sometime, have also returned home. SCHOOL CONCERT. The Manaia. Public School concert, which' is to he held in the Manaia Town Mall this evening is creating a gretat deal of interest. The programme to be '.submitted is first-class one and no doubt there will be a- bumper house, to greet the chll.uren. The teachers lrtve worked very hard to have the children proficient in their respective . numbers and the public can rely on a very pleasant evening.
