The representatives of the employers and employees in the engineering trade have accepted a plan formulated by Judge Beeby for the settlement of the dispute. It provides for the employees of one firm to resume on the'' weekly hiring s\’stcin and those oi the ot.hei two firms concerned on daily hiring. Although the union representatives have accepted the terms it remains to be seen whether the men will obey the unions’ instructions and resume work.
