TOUR OF SCANDINAVIA.
BRITISH: AIR MINISTER’S TRIP. (Brit<i.sh Official \\ i relas*.) RUGBY, Auk. L*. The British Air Minister (Sir Samuel Hoare ), .travelling in one of I he seaplanes which ‘left Felixstowe yesterday on a month.’* tour of Scandinavia., readied Otsilo yesterday evening. The flight was made at an average speed of 100 miles jer hour land heavy rain was encountered along the Thitcii coast. Sir Saimiuel Hoare is the guest of the British Minister, and Oapcnin Rltser Larsen, of the Royal Norwegian Navy, a weld-known Polar explorer, has. been attached to him. He intends to viksit the Danish aero show at Copenhagen, after which he ma.v return home in one seaplane, leaving the others to complete the tour. After this c-raiise some of the new British flying boats will he submitted to >a: more dra.stio test in tropical conditions. They wiill he sent on an extended cruise to the Hast, the prime objective being Singapore.
