ANOTHER WIN FOR GRIME

At Los Angeles, Billy Grime defeated Stewart McLean, the Minneapolis veteran feather-weight, in 10 rounds, thus increasing his reputation considerably and gaining his third victory in America. After dropping McLean in the first round, he went on feinting McLean into leads that spelt disaster. His style of milling was _ without parallel in the American ring, and won repeated applause. In the eighth round McLean had difficulty in locating the corner when the gong went, an-d thenceforward all he could do was to last the distance.

DEMPSEY-SHA EKEY FIGHT.

Bantam-weigili'i.—W. A. Parker was the only competitor. Fly-weight—Jf. Hughes received a verv doubtful decision against F. :M. Rix
