CANADIANS AT HAMILTON. REGISTER AN EASY WIN. (by telegraph press association.) lIAAIILTON, July 20. The Canadians met the South Auckland team at Hamilton this afternoon. The weather was fine, but the ground was exceedingly greasy. The game was played in the presence of 5000 people and proved a walk-over for the maple leaf players, who won by S goals to The visitors’ combination was superior in every way, the South Auckland Lien being drawn from a scattered area, having had no chance of playing together. The game was not very inspiring. The Canadians fielded a strong team, all except one having played in the last test at Wellington. Early in the game Robertson, the South Auckland left half, miskielced into his own goal, giving Canada the lead. Shortly afterwards Davidson slipped a. nice shot into the net for Canada., Moon goaled for the home team, smothering the Canadian goalie. Davidson and Turner each added another goal for Canada before half-time. On resuming the Canadians were more dangerous, and the South Auckland goalie made some brilliant saves, being called upon for heavy work. Brolly, Archibald, Crowley and Williams each added goals for Canada, the last three being towards the end of the game. ,
