MAGISTRATE’S COURT.
SITTING AT HAWERA. i CIVIL’ CASES. The fortnightly sitting of the Ha wera Magistrate’s Court was commenced this morning, when civil eases were dealt with by Mr J. S. Barton, S.M. Judgment was given by default in the following undefended cases: W. G. Simpson v. H. Shirley, 10s 3d; A. 11. Shaw v. Anaru Ngatai, £l6 31s sd; L. Ley don v. T. Bolgcr. £9 9s; Taranaki Trade'A ssn., Ltd., v. R. T. Graham, £2; same v. Leslie Jackson, £6 6s Id. On a judgment summons A. E. Ward was ordered to pay forthwith to J. Kerrislc £lO 9s in default 11 days' imprisonment; R. Greenbanlcs was ordered to pay forthwith to Lightband and Wann £9 16s 3d in default 11 days’ imprisonment.
