BORODIN DISMISSED.
CLANTON'S RED ADVISER. SUGGESTED CAMOUFLAGE, SHANGHAI, June 19. The Nationalist Foreign, Minister, Mr. Eugene Glien, has handed a- notice of dismissal to Jacob Borodin, the Soviet adviser to the Canton Government. According to reports m the Chinese press Borodin has requested permission to remain at Hankow pending the conclusion of the trial of Iris wife by the Northern authorities' at Peking. This ias been granted. it is he.li.eved in foreign circles that jotli sides are indulging in camouflage, that Hankow is not really ridding itself of the Reds, and that; Borodin is not anxious to leave Hankow,- owing to General Chuing Kai-shek's fervent desi re to day hold'of his body , possibly with sinister intent.
