Marvlehonc in their first innings made 295 (Hondren 67, Kidd 52). Cambridge made 22S (Longfield 71). The match was drawn. Somerset in their first innings made 148, and Surrey made 133 for six wickets .(Barling G 7). The match was abandoned.

Kent in their first innings made 243 (Valentine 60). Jacques took four wickeds for ' 39. In their second innings they made ten for one wicket. Yorkshire in their first innings made 131. Wright took five wickets for 45, and Woolley four for 35. Kent won on the first innings. For Hampshire against Northants, Mead made 141. Newman took, six wickets for 4S. For Northants, Adams made 164 not out. Hampshire won. For Leicester against Warwick, Skelding took five wickets for 91. The match was drawn.

For Notts against Gloucester, Whysall made 117 not out. Voyee look five wickets for 37. For Gloucester, Parker took six wickets for 111. Notts won. For Sussex against Worcester, J. Parks took five wickets for 39. For Worcester, Root took seven wickets for 62. Sussex won. For Oxford against Lcvcson-Gowcr’s eleven, Holmes made 136 not out, and also took six wickets for 55. Oxford won.
