HOCKEY.
PROPOSAL POP MEN’S TOURNEY

A conference of hockey enthusiasts was held this evening. The opportunity was taken from the presence in Palmerston North of the trial game representatives to discuss general matters relating to the game. Mr. S. G. Holland (Christchurch) presided. A motion was passed asking the New Zealand Association to circularise the affiliated associations of the North Island, asking it' they were favourable to holding a men’s tournament in Palmerston North.
