The sale to lie held to-night on behalf of the Poultry Club should prove a big attraction to anyone desiring to procure a well-bred bird to augment their present stock, and will also help the club financially, as the birds have been donated and the auctioneering is gratis. The Hawera Male Choir visited, the Hospital last evening, and for- the benefit of patients reproduced the proerramme recently given. The choir wa.s under the conductorship of Mr H. C. Pox. Solos were given by Messrs 1 fry a lit and E. Pacey and a. duet by Messrs McQuinn and Morris. After the performance the choir was entertained bv the matron and nursing staff.
