PERSONAL ITEMS.

Mr T. Fagan, of Wellington, is at present a guest at the Central Hotel. Mr. C. C. Woods, an old resident of Hawera 1 , who has been in hospital, is now making good progress towards recovery, after a serious operation. Mr T-heo. Trczise, who is producing “The Arcadians’’ for the local Operatic Society, is expected to arrive in Hawera on Thursday for the purpose of selecting the cast. Miss Grace Clement, who has been in the employ of Messrs Laurenson and Tunes for .the past four years, was met by her employers this morning and presented with a cheque on the eve of her marriage. Both Mr Laurenson and Mr limes spoke of the faithful service rendered to them by Miss Clement and wished her all happiness in her new sphere of life.
