FACTORY GARAGE GUTTED. (is V IKLKGUAPH —PH ESS ASSOCIATION.; WAIPUKURAU, June 24. Shortly before eight o’clock this morning the brick garage of the Waipukurau Dairy Company adjacent to tiie iactory was gutted by lire, only the brick walls remaining. Four lorries which were destroyed were insured for £1550, the building for £7OO and tools etc., for £SO, the policies being held by the South British Company. The cause was the engine of a, lorry backfiring, the building becoming quickly ablaze. One small truck was rescued. The garage was perviously gutted by fire three years back.
