PRICES AT BURNSIDE. (BY TELEGBiPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION.) DUNEDIN., June 22. Prices for fat cattle and pigs firmed at Burnside. Eat cattle. —There was a yarding, including a number of prime heavies, of line quality. The; competition was better than 1 ant week and the prices advanced £1 a head. Extra prime hil - locks made £l6 2s 6d. prime. £l3 to £l4, medium £lO to £ll, inferior £4 10s to £5 10s. Extra prime ox beet .sold at 335. prime heifers 27s 6d to 30s, cow and light heifers 20s to 22s 6d. Eat sheep.—l here was a small penning. The competition was keen and the nrices" were firmer than last week by from 2s to 3s a head. Extra prime wethers made 465, prime 31s to 335, medium weights 24s 6d to 265, best prime ewes 36s 6d. primes 28s to 30s, light and unfinished 17s. Extra prime lambs sold at 32s 6d. prime 26s to 275. light weights 22s to 23s 6d. store lamos 14s to 16s. Prime light wether mutton made 6Vd a pound, prime heavy 6>d. prime ewes sd. aged 4d. Lamb made from 81d to 9d a pound.

CH LtISTCHURCH, June 22. At Addington market entries to-day were heavy in the fat sections of stock, particularly sheep, and there was an easing in values. Eat cattle were a shade s' acker. Eat lambs.—Values were up on last week by about Is 6d a head. Best lambs were from 2Ss to 32s Id, medium 25s to 27s 6d. light 22s to 24s 6d. and stores 17s to 21s. Fat sheep.—The sale was back 3s for practicallv all classes on last week’s high values. Extra prime heavy wethers made 38s to 44s 3d, prime wethers made 38s to 44s 3d, prime wethers 33s to 36s 6d, medium wethers 29s to 32s 6d. light wethers 25s to 28s 6d, extra prime e\ve« 34s to 36s 7d. prime ewes 27s 6d to 31s 6d. medium ewes 23s 6d to 275, light ewes 19s to 235, aged ewes 13s to 18s.
