The cost being approximately £t>o per man, the opinion in athletic circles 'in Wellington is that, if the plan of a touring team is to go forward, the centres will require to ‘act promptly, otherwise the date set down for the decision of the New Zaland cross-country championships at Christchurch on July 2 would require to be set back.
