LADIES’ CLUB. Opunake ladies canie to E'ltliam last week and were beaten by nine matches to one. The visitors were entertained hospitably by the- local ladies. Last week’s competition (for Mils Meuli’-s trophy) resulted in a win for Miss Richardson, who came in two down on bogey. The following extra .scores have been received: Miss D. Joll 101 —22—79, 103—22—81: Miss Kpight 111—30—81; Miss E. Hawken, 117; Miss I. McClure 119. Miss Jo-ll’s two .scores remove her into the silver medal division with a handicap of 20, Miss Knight’s lowers her handicap to 28, and Miss Hawken and Miss MacClnre eaitinj respectively handicaps of 34 and 36.
