The Aero Club has received £1250 from Madam de Lameurthe to. buy a cup for Lindbergh, and also £IOOO for Madam Nungesser and another £IOOO for the children of Captain Ooli. In accepting a medal Lindbergh emphasised that Nungeser and Coli had a far greater task in flying to America than he had in flying to Europe. Commander Weiss states that Lindbergh’s plans are unsettled. He is not yet able to consider the offer of fabulous sums from American impressarios.
