AN UNEXPECTED HONOUR

PARIS, May 23. In the presence of the American Ambassador (Mr Herrick), President Doumergue unexpectedly decorated Lirndbergh with the Cross of the Legion of Honour. M. Doumonge warmly embraced and felicitated the airman ._ Lindbergh also received the _ Aero Club’s medal, after which. M. Poincare congratulated him. —A.P.A. and “Sun.’
