CHARGE AGAINST A MOTORIST.

As a sequel to a fatality in Great South Road on March 2, -when Robert Arthur Holland, who was riding a push bicycle, was knocked down, by a. motorcycle ridden, by George Pollard, a I'h-aige of negligent driving .so as to cause death was preferred against Pollard in the Police Court to-day. It was stated .by witnesses that Pollard was travelling at 40 to 60 miles an hour shortly before the accident. Pollard was committed for trial.
