The. attendance was large and the track hard and fast. The totalisator i-eceipts were £20,454 10s, as against £19,522 10s for the corresponding fixture _ last year. There was an unusual incident in connection with the Advance Handicap. Bankhead and Quality went to the post, but after the machine had closed they were recalled, owing to an informality in connection with their entry, and hackers lost £2BO without a run.
