WELL-KNOWN HERDS TO BE SOLD The attention of dairymen in general, and Jersey, breeders in particular, is drawn to the advertisement appearing in, this issue of the sale of Messrs Cornwall and Jones’ noted ‘‘Oakland®” and “Sitverleys” Jerseys at Mr J. S. Jones’ farm, Bell Block, New Plymouth, on. Tuesday, May 24. This sale present® a splendid opportunity to those in search of cattle of a high standard of quality for both show and producing purposes, and buyers are confidently recommended- to attend. , ' On Wednesday, May 25, will be offered by the same firms, for complete unreserved sale, the well-known herd of Mr J. Burnes, together with several lots- on behalf of various other wellknown Taranaki breeder®. The selling agents are the Farmers Co-op. and Messrs Wright, Stephenson and Co., Ltd., Wellington. Caro will leave the offices of the Farmers’ Co-op. on the morning of the sales, and clients' intending to make these trips are requested to book , seats as early as possible.
