WINDFALL FOR SWIMMING CENTRE.

As the result of £IOO being lodged at the Auckland Savings Bank 18 years ago to the old N.Z.A.5.A.,, the present Amateur Swimming Association benefits to the extent of £220, half of which will be allotted to the Auckland Swdmming Centre, in appreciation of its research w r ork.
COMMITTEEMAN SUSPENDED,
AUCKLAND, May 12
The Auckland swimming centre lias suspended C. J. Saintv, a committeeman of the Pons'Diiby Amateur Swimming and Life Saving Club, until he has made a satisfactory explanation in reference to his nomination of a girl whom lie was coaching in the “’tiny tots” race, it being alleged that he knew the girl was over the age limit.
