SCHOOLBOY’S TEAM.
PROPOSED TOUR OF DOMINION
(BY TELEGRAPH'-PRESS ASSOCIATION.) WELLINGTON, May 11. The Council of the New Zealand Foot ball Association at a meeting to-night decided to send a definite invitation to Australia to send a schoolboys ’ team average age 14J years) to the Dominion, leaving the Commomvealth about August. The Auckland Football Association reported the affiliation of the Catholic Primary Schools Football Association with 22 teams, and the secretary was instructed to , writei congratulating Auckland. Six footballs were allocated to the new organisation. Mr. B. L. Salmon was elected sole selector. Messrs A. Varney and the secretary. Mr. L. 0. Atkinson, are to go to Auckland to welcome the Canadian team which is arriving on May 23.
A letter is to be sent to the Canter bury Association regretting their actio: wlieh led to the deflection of the Sunny side Club to Rugby.
