Both, Houses of Pan’iament were prorogued after passing the Finance Bills, authorising the Bank of Japan, to adjust the situation regarding opening the Bank of Formosa and other closed private hanks, showing that the solvency limit guarantee totals 700,000,000 yen. additional to the 200,000,000 yen, when the Government authorised the closing last session. The Bills have been signed by the Emperor, and will be gazetted to-day, whereupon immediately will begin preparation for ending the moratorium. The closing of the special, isession caused an immediate favourable reaction throughout the country.
