MUNICIPAL ELECTION.
ELTHAM. So far there lias not been much interest in the forthcoming municipal elections in Eltham. Up to the present, for the mayoralty Mr. Ira J. Bridger has been nominated. For the Eltham Borough Council, three old councillors have been, nominated, namely Messrs. B. L. Garden, A. C. Richards, and L. Nairn. It is understood, however, that Crs. McYVhirter and Kemp will also stand again. There are a few new names mentioned, but so far their nominations have not been received. For the Hawera Hospital Board, Mr. 0. YYL Taylor (sitting member) is the onlv one nominated. For the Power Board, Mr. H. G. Carman (present chairman of the board, has been again nominated.
