NEW PLYMOUTH TOURNEY
GOOD ENTRIES.
A noteworthy feature in the world of golf in Taranaki is the annual tourney and championship at New Plymouth, always held, at Easter. This year the entries are such as to ensure a series of close and interesting matches, a keen struggle for the championship, and a high standard of golf. Play will commence at 8.30 a.m. on Saturday, when the qualifying rounds will he played, and will be continued on Monday and Tuesday. The entrants include Mr. L. Quin, ex-amateur champion of New Zealand and a member of the team to go to Australia.
