OHANGAI HALL.

COAIMITTEE ’S ANNUAL MEETING. The annual meeting of the Ohangai Uall Committee, held last evening, was attended by Alessrs. J. Ken-islc (chairman), J. O’Shea, S. Savage, AV. Garrett, P. J. Sheahan, J. Kerrisk, G. Cunningham, T. AlcCarty, J. Trilford, R. Harding, B. L. Ilaseltine, and AV. Slater (retiring secretary). The balance sheet, presented by the secretary, showed that, tlie receipts amounted to £lll 5s Sd, while expenditure totalled £75 19s 7d, leaving a credit on the year’s working of £37 Gs Id. At the beginning of the period the credit balance was £l6l 17s 4d, and had been reduced to £124 11s 3d.

The chairman expressed satisfaction at the state of the funds, as disclosed by the balance sheet, and remarked that a. number of old accounts had been paid during the period, the actual expenditure for the year being considerably less than the amount stated. Altogether £29 10s had been paid off the piano account, which was regarded as being very satisfactory. Air. P. J. Shealian moved the adoption of the balance sheet, and in doing so congratulated the- secretary, and the committee, on. the splendid result of the year ’s operation. Air. J. eKrrisk seconded the motion, and also eulogized the work of the secretary. The balance sheet was adopted. The committee, for the ensuing year, was elected as follows: Alessrs. W. O. Garrett, P. AlcCarty, S. Savage, J. Anderson, B. L. Haseltine, J. Kerrisk junior, R. Harding. A vote of appreciation was expressed to Alessrs. J. Trilford and W. Slater, retiring members of the committee. and to the ladies who had assisted tlie committee with all the social functions. Air. J. Kerrisk seconded the motion, he a recommendation to the incoming committee that spouting should he erected on the roof. This was carried. A vote of appreciation was passed to the press. At, a subsequent meeting of the newlv elected committeed, Air. S. Savage was elected secretary.
