The Salvation Army is commencing a Sunday school at Ararata to-morrow-afternoon, at one o’clock. For some time there has been no Sunday school at this place, and the Army hopes the parents will appreciate the efforts of the Army in endeavoring to minister to the spiritual welfare of the children. The Hawera. Baptist Church is celebrating its Sunday School anniversary on Sunday. Features of interest will be the singing of the scholars; addresses by the Rev. L. C. H. Barbour; and at 2.45 p.m. the carrying out of the usual primary programme along lines of modern methods. This will be led by Mrs L. C. H. Barbour. A warm welcome has been extended to people who may wish to attend the services.
