MISCELLANEOUS.

Mr. V. B. Grant, of Yogictown, New Plymouth, wrote suggesting that in the pig sections, as there were such wide differences in the ages of exhibits, classes which were now for animals of “six months and under” should be split into two, for exhibits four months and under, and eight months and under. Although this would mean adding one class, the writer stated that the age and size of the exhibits would be more uniform, rendering judging easier.—The matter was referred to the schedule committee. Westwood Bros. Enterprises, Ltd., applied for the sole rights of glass blowing at the forthcoming show.—The request was granted, provided a fee of £5 were paid. The matter of holding a stock drive was discussed, but no action was taken. Several members stressed the necessity for raising money, and the president urged that an effort should be made to increase membership. The resignations of Messrs Robertson, Blackley, E. M| Poole, S. B. Howlett, and M. Kelly were received. The annual meeting was arranged for the last Saturday of May. Accounts totalling £3l 10s 3d were passed for payment.
