Anderson was advised to-day by Mr. Robert Lee, receiver of the Kaitangata mine, that confirmation had reached him from liondon that tlie arrears of the miners’ wages were the first charge of the purchase money, which means that, if the new company is successfully floated, the wages will be immediately paid to the miners.
