KQCAL RIGHTS DEMANDED. (British Official Wireless.) RUGBY, March 8. The Prime Minister, accompanied by the Home Secretary, this afternoon received a deputation organised by the Equal Political Rights Campaign Committee to discuss tbe question of equal franchise. The deputation was introduced by Lady As tor. It asked for an immediate and simple Government measure to secure that at the next general election a woman should be enetitled. to vote at the age of 21 and on the same terms as men.

Tee Prime Minister replied that the Government proposed to make a statement in the House of Commons before Easter
