QUARTERLY COMMITTEE MEETING.

A quarterly meeting of the Patea Licensing ' Gommittee was held in ' the Haver a, court lkou.se to-day. The bench was composed of Mr. J. S.. Barton, S.M., in the chair, and: Messrs. J. B. Murdoch, EL A, P'aoey, and J. Gray. Tllie business consisted of the granting of four applications for transfers of licenses, namely : Wad to tar a Hotel (Wiaitotara) from A. G. S. Seeley to R. D. Bowring; White Hart Hotel (Have ra), from J. N. Anderson to R. D. Wilson ; Commercial Hotel (Warerley), from G. IT,. Bilson to Edmund Muloach.y; and the New Zealand Wine license in premises in Princes Street, Hawera, from D. L. Forman to A. F. Anderson.
