Lord RoseKry bluntly asks how much the fund is and from whom it- was obtained. An official in Mr Lloyd George’s office said vesti«rcla->*: “We do not think it necessary or desirable at present to reply further than to say that the fund which Mr Lloyd George coutro s was raised in a way which does not differ from that followed by the Conservative Party or the Liberal Party in t-lie days before the coalition, and That all a<ong it has been devoted to legitimate party purposes. ’ ’ '
