INVERCARGILL WOOL SALE. ANIMATED BIDDING. RANGE OF PRICES. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION —COPYRIGHT. INVERCARGILL. Jan. 28. The wool .sales concluded this morning, resulting in an almost complete clearance of the whole catalogue of over 22,000 hales. There was a, record bench of buyers and bidding was most animated. An excellent selection was olfered and extreme prices were paid, northern levels being fully maintained. Super hoggets showed a rife of live to ten per cent. The range of prices was : Halfbred. —Super to 19Id, medium lOd to* 17-j-d, inferior 14d to lOd. Fine Crossbred. —Super 15d to 16d, medium. 13jd to. 15d; inferior llld to 13r,d. Medium Crossbred. —Super 15d to 16-jd, medium 123 d to 143 d, coarse 10 3d to 12.1 d. Coarse Crossbred.—Super 123 d to 13‘d, medium 1 Ifd to 12jd. inferior 10d to lid.
Pieces brought to 13d; bellies 10d to Hf'd, crutchings 03d to Bd. necks 123 d, to. 14fd; locks 4d to 7-id.
