SPAHLINGER TREATMENT

The special Geneva correspondent of the Daily Express, continuing his Spahlinger revelations, says: “I asked Dr. Spahlinger and his manager, Lovell, for a list of recent cures who had returned to work in -England. They promised it,' but despite reminders, the list was never forthcoming. I investigated some boasted cures: One, an frngliMrivoman, • now dying, dictates from her deathbed stating: ‘Don’t let patients corner for Spahlinger treatment, ’ A British, ex-armv brigadier stated: ‘I paid Dr. Spahlinger £SOO, and took the strum in l all ways. I was cited as muck improved. As a. matter of fact- I grew a great deal worse undeir the ' treatment. I would like to do everythin," to prevent poor people from coming to seek treatment.” Another Englishman, after taking the serum from September, 1925, to June, 1926. came to Geneva and Saw Dr. Spahlinger,' who .guaranteed a eure. with a special, serum for £4OO. “My wife and T sold everything wo had in the world, paid £2OO, and promised Dr. Spahlinger £2OO later,” lie stated. “I hav.ei taken the serum for five months, but am now worse.. I have grown weaker, and my relations are now paving for other treatment.” Professor Sahli, director of the medical clinic at Berne, .University, said that Swiss patients were not treated by the Spahfinger method, because no Swiss doctor thought it of any value.
