At the Stadium, Roy Moore, of America, knocked out Billy Edwards, middleweight, champion of Australia, in ten rounds, when the referee stopped the fight; The display by both men was poor. Edwards had trained for only a- few -days. Moore’s methods were crude, hub he dropped his opponent 'thrice in the last, round. The crowd was disappointed and frequently hooted. McGAR-TTTY BEATS WHYBROW. MELBOURNE, Jan. 23. Bert. McCarthy heat Harry Why-brow in the fourth round.
