As Takaishi is not a resident the title goes to' Henry. One hundred yards backstroke champion ship-: Saitoh (Japan) 1, Boast (Queensland) 2, Johansen (Victoria) 3. Won by four yards. Time, 1.10 4-5. 1 Au Australian record. The title' goes to Boast. '
