The police are making strenuous efforts inquiring into the fate of Mrs Dorothy Rushton, a young woman, whose mutilated body was found on the railway near Wickford, Essex. She was only married on Boxing Day. She> left her husband affectionately at Catford on January 12, saying she was going to see her sister at Lewisham,. but never arrived there. The police are puzzled because the woman’s handbag is missing. The train arrived at Wickford with all the carriage doors closed.
