Davie-s (Auckland) winner of the title in 19045 and again in 1908, being the victor. Erskilie, of Melbourne, was runner-up, and Moir and Dunlop tied lor third position. Erskine had to win all his -three adjourned games in ortler to secure the championship. Instead of that he drew two and won one by default.
