LAND-HOLDERS ISSUE CLAIMS. LOSSES AMOUNT TO 060.000. BY CABLE—BRESS ASSOCIATION - COPi'BltiJsT. Received 10.45 a.m. to-day. SYDNEY, Jan. 6. As a sequel to the recent bush fires in the Forbes district, a number of land-holders have issued claims against the Railway Commissioners for losses amounting to £60,000. In the’ event of failure to reach a settlement writs will be issued for the amount.
