MEN MISSING
EXPLOSION ON SHIP WHILE LOADING PITCH MANY DEATHS FEARED. BY CABLE—PRESS ASSOCIATION—COPYRIGHT. Received 1.20 p.m. to-day. NEW YORK, Jan. 4. A message from Baltimore states that 28 dock workers and five members of the crew of the French barque Rieheleieu are missing, following an explosion to-night. The vessel was loading pitch at the Curtis Bay pier. It is feared that many workers are dead.
